Welcome to our
practice for aesthetic medicine
in the heart of Lucerne!

Those who feel beautiful about themselves and are satisfied with their own appearance possess it all the more: natural beauty. Achieving and enhancing natural beauty is always successful when your attitude to life and appearance harmonize and create a good sense of self-esteem. To make the best of yourself, to present your own type in an advantageous way – I would like to support you in my practice for aesthetic medicine in Lucerne!

We use modern methods and procedures to emphasize your personal beauty, accentuate your individual assets and gently make one or two blemishes disappear. With minimally invasive or supportive beauty treatments, we make your appearance glow or make you appear younger and fresher. The aim is to emphasize your natural beauty and avoid the impression of artificiality or a mask-like expression.

Early in my medical career, I was already fascinated by aesthetics, which is why I chose the path of plastic surgery. During my professional career I have gained a lot of experience in both surgical and medical aesthetics, including lip injections, treatment with neuromodulators and all treatments with hyaluronic acid. After studying human medicine at the University of Cologne, I moved to beautiful Switzerland for further surgical training.
After various rotations, including in plastic, aesthetic and hand surgery as well as in aesthetic medicine at Magdeburg University Hospital, I would like to use my knowledge and skills for my clients.
My motto is to emphasize your inherent beauty and individuality and not to change you according to a supposed ideal of beauty. My clients know and appreciate me for my honest advice.

UniCKat Aesthetics - Dr. Cigdem Kaya

There is a lot of truth in this old adage. Because when our body is optimally supplied with nutrients, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, you can tell by our skin: it is the mirror of physical health and beauty feature no. 1. A balanced diet plays an important role in this context, but it is often not enough. Micronutrients in food only partially enter the circulation and reach the areas that are effective. The solution is “drips“. With the help of infusions, the active ingredients enter the bloodstream and can be used directly and effectively by the body – for anti-ageing effects, muscle building, fat loss, beautiful hair and fingernails, for your immune system or more energy in everyday life.

Everything has its own beauty, but not everyone notices it.

Nose: 6-12 months

Generally speaking: no. But you will feel that “something is being done”. Anaesthetic ointment as well as lidocaine in the products help to reduce the pain to a maximum. If desired, a gentle anaesthetic injection can also be placed in the mucous membranes during lip injections. If you would like this, please ask our practitioners. They will be happy to give you information about this.

Swelling, slight inflammation and bruising, also called haematoma, are quite normal, especially after lip augmentation. If you are prone to herpes, the treatment may cause an outbreak. Also, any other area that has been injected can potentially bleed easily and cause haematomas. These usually disappear within the next 3-10 days, depending on the extent. Serious complications such as vascular injuries or extensive inflammation are fortunately observed extremely rarely. Our practitioners all belong to the medical profession, which is why you are in safe hands with us.

The filler products we use in the packages are all made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring gel-like substance. The advantage is that the filler can be dissolved again quickly and easily. We use hyaluronidase, a quasi “antidote”, which flushes the hyaluronic acid out of the tissue and removes it completely.

Depending on the treatment area, you will see an immediate effect. After initial swelling, you will have to wait about 7 days to look forward to the final result.

Generally speaking, you should feel healthy and fit for the treatment. If you are suffering from an acute illness, cold or fever, you should first recover completely.
In the case of certain chronic illnesses such as autoimmune deficiencies, tumors, neurological diseases, blood clotting disorders and regular medication such as blood thinners (Marcoumar®, Aspirin®, Heparin, etc.) or immunosuppressants, we recommend that you first contact us by telephone to find out whether treatment is possible.

In case of certain allergies to components of hyaluronic acid products, lidocaine or latex, please inform us urgently BEFORE any treatment!

We generally exclude pregnant and breastfeeding mothers for the protection of your unborn child and babies.

Here we are happy to inform you about what you can do at:

Swelling: intermittent cooling with a cool pack, short-term use of low-dose cortisone tablets and decongestant NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, Voltaren, Ponstan) are best for this.

Bruises/haematomas: Ointment containing heparin helps the bruises to heal faster by 1-2 days. Concealer and make-up can be used to try and cover them up until they are completely gone in about 1-2 weeks.

Inflammation: Mild inflammation can be counteracted very well with cooling and the use of NSAIDs if necessary.
In the case of extensive or even purulent inflammation, please contact us as soon as possible. We may have to start with an antibiotic.

Vascular occlusion: The practitioner usually sees a vessel occlusion already during the treatment. Extremely rarely, however, secondary symptoms of vascular occlusion can occur after the patient has already been discharged from the practice. These include initial bleaching effect with circulatory disturbance (whitening of the tissue), demarking signs and persistent, severe pain.
