Welcome to our
Aesthetics practice
in the heart of Lucerne!

Early in my medical career, I was already fascinated by aesthetics, which is why I chose the path of plastic surgery. During my professional career I have gained a lot of experience in both surgical and medical aesthetics, including lip injections, treatment with neuromodulators and all treatments with hyaluronic acid. After studying human medicine at the University of Cologne, I moved to beautiful Switzerland for further surgical training.
After various rotations, among others in plastic, aesthetic and hand surgery as well as in aesthetic medicine at the University Hospital Magdeburg, I would like to use my knowledge and skills for my clients.
My motto is to emphasise your inherent beauty and individuality and not to change you according to a supposed ideal of beauty. My clients know and appreciate me for my honest advice.

FAQ

  • Depending on many factors such as age, lifestyle, nicotine use and sporting activity, as well as the areas treated, the durability will vary. Therefore, we can only provide average values

Cheeks: 12-18 months

Generally speaking: no. But you will feel that “something is being done”. Anaesthetic ointment as well as lidocaine in the products help to reduce the pain to a maximum. If desired, a gentle anaesthetic injection can also be placed in the mucous membranes during lip injections. If you would like this, please ask our practitioners. They will be happy to give you information about this.

Swelling, slight inflammation and bruising, also called haematoma, are quite normal, especially after lip augmentation. If you are prone to herpes, the treatment may cause an outbreak. Also, any other area that has been injected can potentially bleed easily and cause haematomas. These usually disappear within the next 3-10 days, depending on the extent. Serious complications such as vascular injuries or extensive inflammation are fortunately observed extremely rarely. Our practitioners all belong to the medical profession, which is why you are in safe hands with us.

The filler products we use in the packages are all made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring gel-like substance. The advantage is that the filler can be dissolved again quickly and easily. We use hyaluronidase, a quasi “antidote”, which flushes the hyaluronic acid out of the tissue and removes it completely.

Depending on the treatment area, you will see an immediate effect. After initial swelling, you will have to wait about 7 days to look forward to the final result.

Generally speaking, you should feel healthy and fit for the treatment. If you are suffering from an acute illness, cold or fever, you should first recover completely.
In the case of certain chronic diseases such as autoimmune deficiency, tumour diseases, neurological diseases, blood coagulation disorders as well as regular medication such as blood thinners (Marcoumar®, Aspirin®, Heparin, etc.) or immunosuppressants, we recommend that you first contact us by telephone to find out whether treatment is possible.

In case of certain allergies to components of hyaluronic acid products, lidocaine or latex, please inform us urgently BEFORE any treatment!

We generally exclude pregnant and breastfeeding mothers for the protection of your unborn child and babies.

Here we are happy to inform you about what you can do at:

Swelling: intermittent cooling with a cool pack, short-term use of low-dose cortisone tablets and decongestant NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, Voltaren, Ponstan) are best for this.

Bruises/haematomas: Ointment containing heparin helps the bruises to heal faster by 1-2 days. Concealer and make-up can be used to try and cover them up until they are completely gone in about 1-2 weeks.

Inflammation: Mild inflammation can be controlled very well with cooling and NSAIDs if necessary.
In the case of large-surface or even purulent inflammations, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible. We may have to start with an antibiotic.

Vascular occlusion: The practitioner usually sees a vessel occlusion already during the treatment. Extremely rarely, however, secondary symptoms of vascular occlusion can occur after the patient has already been discharged from the practice. These include initial bleaching effect with circulatory disturbance (whitening of the tissue), demarking signs and persistent, severe pain.
